After exhausted gas of a ship diesel engine is discharged by turbocharger, Under the action of catalyst, Harmful NOx is converted into harmless nitrogen (N2) and water vapor, therefore to achieve the purpose of waste gas purification.

MHI SCR system can effectively reduce the emission of 80% NOx. The catalyst on the top layer of MHI-SCR exhaust gas purification apparatus is replaced every 5 years, which greatly decreased operation cost.
